Who's answering?
Continue with current file keeps the file already selected for this name.
Replace with other user file copies another learner’s file into yours (same progress and settings, your name inside). That replaces your current file.
Only some users — admins or guardians — are set up to replace a file this way.
This uses the selected learner’s current file in the active folder. The folder and file name are shown on this line, with the session count and last-changed time.
Keep only one active file per person in that folder. If a person has more than one file, the app uses the latest.
Include:
Fluency Feast settings — builds and runs a temporary list from this learner's fluency. Every change saves to the learner's file.
Maximum problems limits every method (15 by default). Easy starters are extra.
Path to 100% fluency: the facts that are not yet fluent, each repeated as many times as the selected classifier still needs a fast-correct answer (1.9s or just under the fast line). Those repeats are spaced through the quiz. The preview shows how many problems that would take; the maximum keeps the closest-to-fluent facts first.
Cold simple: one pass through all facts that Cold Evidence does not classify as fluent. Shuffle within categories, from zero to one, two, doubles or squares, then the tough rest. The maximum keeps the first problems in that order.
Percent mix: fill gaps using Assessment Read and the percentages below. A fast correct answer after the last mistake clears that fact for the next quiz. Each problem appears once, with the least recently practiced facts first within each tier. Empty or small tiers give their unused slots to other unresolved facts. Fluent facts are only included when requested, apart from the optional easy starters. A small remaining pool makes a shorter quiz.
every method; a small pool makes a shorter quiz
All sessions uses the whole file and includes newly saved answers at every start. Older collection or recent-session presets automatically use all sessions for live practice. Use Analysis to compare a fixed collection.
Skip addition or multiplication facts with 0 or 1 in either position. For subtraction, skip the matching families: subtract zero or get zero; subtract one or get one.
Applies to both methods and easy starters. Counts and Path to 100% cover only the included facts. Your overall fluency history stays unchanged.
Non-fluent problems (…), easiest categories first
Type up to 12 target problems (e.g. 5+7), mixed randomly during the run. Each box is one exact problem: 5+7 and 7+5 are two targets, and the quiz asks only what you typed. The rest of the problems are random filler (edit the filler list below). Edits save automatically.
Get targets from fills the slots from the last 1–4 assessments or all sessions: incorrect and needs-practice first, then incorrect, then needs-practice. Each direction stays its own target, so 5+7 and 7+5 can both be filled. Newer assessments fill first. If that is more than 12 facts, the slots still fill and the note says it exceeds available slots; facts from the oldest of those assessments are left out.
Filler is either the target filler list or addition categories. Categories start as +1, +0, +2, and doubles. Tough 21 is off until it is checked.
An initial assessment for the checked operation(s). Uses formal categories: quick categories are sampled lightly, slow categories get deeper coverage, and harder categories are always reached.
— the assessment stops at this number
— problems not answered correctly under this time are added for another try
— starts with this evidence target and asks more when the result is not yet confidently Fluent or Needs practice
— e.g. 3 − 7; answer with digits then ±
After the quiz, redo slow or incorrect facts once, easiest first.
— answers submit as soon as enough digits are typed
— flash before the next problem (dev control)
Nice — you've got the hang of the keypad.
